Each morning I walk my dogs, a 10 year old beagle and 2 year old Vizsla in a forest near my home. I was taking a flight on this particular morning and I decided to leave myself plenty of time to finish the forest walk, get back home and then drive to the airport, 2 hours away. When I arrived back to my car with the dogs, my car keys were not in my pockets. My beagle had chewed a hole in my pocket looking for treats and I had forgotten about that when I must have put the keys in that pocket. Needless to say I was stressed by my predicament. I approached the only other person in the parking lot to the forest, a woman, her daughter and their dog. Meanwhile my dogs are jumping all around, thinking this is fun, mom is letting us stay longer to play! I told this women about my lost car keys and that I was feeling panicked because I had to get to the airport. Without any hesitation she asked me whether she could drive me home to get a second set of keys and then she would drive me back to my car. So, me and the dogs piled into her car and she waited patiently while I entered our home to find the second set of keys, which I luckily found. In our chat to and from the forest I asked whether she had anywhere she had to be. She said she had to get to work but they would understand. I discovered that she is a real estate law clerk at a well known law firm in Orillia. Now that’s the type of law firm that we should all have the good fortune to work at.
